Realisation
Dear wendy in the future. I learnt so much today:)
I learnt that solutions to tough times are always there . You jus have to see it and to take the extra step to walk on.
You loved him. He was everything to you, your heart knew he could do the worst things to u and u would still loved him. He hit a level where he stood side by side with your mother. But you were losing ur mind. You were losing yourself.
Today my dear lovely wendy, you stop blaming yourself for letting what you thought was a lifetime of happiness... you stop thinking you arent good enough.
Because you realise. It was all a test. The situations you faced forced you to test not your love for him.. but your love for urself. How far could you change for that affection. As you think back to all the love guide books advices, you realised all this while he was using the theories of love to satisfy your heart.
The mistake that broke you two up was.. if he really loved you for u and your happiness was priority, the last element that guide books do not talk about would be covered. This element is so subjective that experts can never put into words. Its an element that only affects those girls with a mind of their own. The element of genuine efforts. And this differs for everybody.
Today dear Wendy, you realise that you took a step not out of something that you have waited all these years, but a step into loving yourself. A step into learning self worth. A step that helps you recover who you are, and to strengthen your knowledge .. that when it comes to matters of the heart, you dont ever settle.
You knew if you loved God it had to be sincere which explains why it takes so long. You realise it is not smth you show off to anyone which is why it was always a secret in ur heart. You realise you want no one to be able to gain credit for the love you felt for the one who made plans for you because they dont deserve that.
Through all of this, you start a new chapter, further appreciating everyone you truly love and those of which who love might not have been as perfectly painted by a guidebook and misguided beautiful lies, but to see the PERFECTION in the clumsy efforts and profound inner love of those who truly care.
Dont let your heart settle for textbook based love temptations, be it love words or affirmation, physical touchs or quality time alone.. look beyond that. VIEW TRUTH. THE BEAUTY OF ITS DENTS AND FLAWS.
